Make (formerly Integromat)

updated 2 years ago

In this article:

Engage integrates with Make as a destination for your customer data. Make, formerly known as Integromat, is a platform that helps you build and automate your tools and manage your processes in one platform. By connecting Engage to Make as a destination, Make sends your customer data to Engage and you can then use that for customer segmentation and personalized messaging.

Setup

To connect Engage, click the "Create a New Scenario" button. In the new scenario screen, click the add button and search for Engage in the list of integrations.

Actions

Select one of the available actions. There are currently three actions you can select from:

  • Identify a User - used to create and track user attribute changes

  • Track a User - used to track an event for a particular user

  • Make an API call - used to make a random (HTTP) call to the Engage service

Connection

After selecting the action you want to integrate, you have to select a connection parameter to use for the action. You can either add a new connection or select an already existing connection.

To create a new connection, provide a connection name, your Engage public key, and private key. Your API keys are available in the accounts page of your Engage dashboard.

Enter your Engage public key in the username field and your private key in the password field.

Action Values

Once you select a connection, you can then populate the values of your selected action as needed. You can also map these values from existing modules to achieve even more seamless automations.

Once your connection is successful, Engage pulls the Lists available on your account. You can use any of these Lists in your action value. For example, you can select it when adding values to the “Identify a User” action.
