How to resend a campaign to users who did not open
updated 26 seconds ago
You might want to resend a campaign to users who did not open the original campaign. We generally don’t recommend this approach, because the "open" metric is not always reliable.
Many email clients block open-tracking pixels, so some users who actually opened your email may not be tracked correctly.
Email security bots can sometimes trigger opens, making it appear that someone opened your message when they didn’t.
As a result, some users may be included or excluded from your resend incorrectly.
If however, it is important you do this, here is how:
Create a Segment based on people that are in the list but didn't open the email.
Go to Customers -> Segments (left navigation menu) -> Create a new Segment.
Enter a title (e.g Did not open campaign XYZ) and optional description
Add the conditions (see attached video)
"Segment/List...": "User belongs to": "List": type the name of the List and select from the suggested options
Click the "Add Condition" button to add another condition:
"Message": "Status": "Opened": "has not occurred"
Click the "Additional Options" beside the message condition to add a campaign filter:
"Campaign is": type the subject of the campaign and select it from the suggested options.
Save the Segment
Wait for a few seconds for the Segment to finish processing and confirm the audience.
Duplicate the original campaign — open the campaign and click the "Duplicate" button (top right)
Send the newly duplicate to the Segment you just created and Send.
