Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a security measure that adds an extra layer of protection to your Engage account. If your password is compromised, it ensures there is a second authentication barrier to prevent unauthorized access.

Two-factor authentication with authenticator apps

You can set up two-factor authentication on your Engage account by using an Authenticator app.

To set up 2FA on your account,

  1. Download an Authenticator app. We recommend Authy, Google Authenticator, and Microsoft Authenticator.

  2. Go to Settings on your Engage dashboard -> Profile -> Two-factor authentication.

  3. Follow the instructions.

As an organization owner or admin, you can also force all members of the organization to turn on two-factor authentication on their accounts. We highly recommend this.

To force all team members to set up 2FA, go to Settings -> Organization -> Two-factor authentication.
